Saul gives the guys some much needed tough love. They “suck at dealing meth” and he knows guy who knows a guy who knows a guy. Walt and Jesse meet this guy and we get introduced to Gus. We say goodbye to Combo and say hello to Holly. Jesse and Jane make the dangerous decision to step up to heroin.
The series has used Saul in this episode to leverage the whole meth game up to a new level. The episode focuses much less on the 80% comedy and more on the serious, consigliore side of Saul’s character.
