Better Call Saul flashback 209

4_days_out

Saul outlines the math for his money laundering (75 cents on the dollar) and fees (17%), leaving Walt with just under $10k in net worth. Saul advises him to “Make hay while the sun is shining.”

Walt and family visit the Oncology Center for a PET scan that will determine the results of his chemo.  He mistakenly thinks the cancer is worse by misinterpreting the scan and goes off on a 4 day binge cook with Jesse.

After several mishaps, Jesse and Walt emerge from the desert cook with $675k in product (each) and a mutual trust that Jesse will make sure that the money makes it to Walt’s family in the event that he dies.

In the follow up visit to the Oncology Dr., Walt learns that his tumor has been reduced in size by 80%.  He punches the bathroom paper dispenser in relief or anger or frustration and leaves.
