Recap of Breaking Bad 502, “Madrigal”. Even though he’s gone now, Gus’ connections to the German company Madrigal become an important part of the show. Walt stashes the ricin vial for future use. Merkert is out and Hank begins to look towards the German executives for new clues. He also uncovers Mike’s finances and this forces Mike back into the meth business. We meet the frantic Madrigal executive Lydia, who tries to take down Mike and his crew to isolate herself from exposure. Lydia will soon become thier new source of methylamine.
