Better Call Saul 109 Pimento

Nothing was hidden from us in the previous eight episodes, yet here we are, surprised again by the evil genius Gilligan and his all-star writers. It was Chuck pulling the strings and keeping Jimmy out of the firm all along. While the rejection Jimmy feels is hard to watch, Chuck is probably right, Jimmy is dangerous when he’s armed with a law degree. Meanwhile, Mike hones his criminal skills (and philosophies) as he networks his way into the ABQ crime scene.

Check out Jamie’s take on the final scene of BB matching Walt Whitman’s poem from 1900:
“When I heard the learn’d astronomer;
When the proofs, the figures, were ranged in columns before me;
When I was shown the charts and the diagrams, to add, divide, and measure them;
When I, sitting, heard the astronomer, where he lectured with much applause in the lecture-room,
How soon, unaccountable, I became tired and sick;
Till rising and gliding out, I wander’d off by myself,
In the mystical moist night-air, and from time to time,
Look’d up in perfect silence at the stars.”
